Bebaroque....WOWW

WOWOWOWOWOW! Whilst browsing on Vogue.co.UK I came across an article about a Scottish pair of hosiery designers and looked on their website (http://www.bebaroque.co.uk/index.php) and I think the the tights are FANTASTIC!...I am so inspired by the pictures above! and am definitely going to invest in some when I have moneeey! I am so glad I found this site as is a possibility to buy a pair to go with outfits I've made.

Wool Mohawk hat...

More college memories! I really enjoyed this project, which was knitting based. I wanted to do something different so went with the idea of making a Mohawk woolen hat. Maybe at some point in the second year I can introduce some designs that follows on from this!

One of the first garments I ever made at college! Is nice looking back at all my previous work as I can see how much I've improved over the past 2 years!

Ascot glamour!

RIGHT its decided NEXT year I shall go to Ascot so I can wear a glamorous dress and impressive hat! I particularly like the picture above the race go-er looks oh so sheek with the white lace hat and the red lipstick!!! beautiful if you ask me!...watch this spot for photos of me next year with a fancy hat (I'll probably look very stupid...but hey its part of the fun right?!)

Topshop knit collection mhm

Mark Fast's latest knitwear capsule collection is launching on 25th June in Topshop and I LOVE IT! the collection was inspired by exotic sleek birds, using their movement and the shimmer of their wings as a main inspiration. pretty please can someone buy me one of the pieces???

FdA/BA Final show

AHHH it has been SUCH a CRAAAZY day! literally have not stopped but pretty much enjoyed every moment! I actually love being back stage at fashion shows and dressing there is always such a BUZZY atmosphere and is very GO-GO-GO!...although I do tend to Panic sometimes! The outfits were amazing! the BA students clothing was a couture range so it was so very OUT THERE! One of the outfits even had latex leggings! but I LOVED it! The FdA outfits were equally as amazing and SO inspiring! (hopefully I'll be making clothes like that in my second year!) I especially liked my first FdA outfit which consisted of a print long sleeved denim top under a print dress with a print belt and big necklace.

I am actually SO glad I have changed my choice for second year, although it will be very hard work I will spend every free minute in uni if I have to!

Bournemouth Fashion weekend!!!

What a fantastic show!!! the models were really nice and the clothing was amazing!!! Was pretty hectic when I dressed but once everything was in full swing, everything sloted into place. I only managed to dress on the friday afternoon shows which was a shame so hopefully next year I can help out with all of it!.

Change of mind....

RIGHT....so a few weeks ago I picked Fashion PROMOTION for next year and since then I have been thinking and Re-thinking this and came to the conclusion that I will start off in September doing Fashion DESIGN and see how that goes. Main reason I am thinking this is because seeing all the second years collections has really inspired me to push on with designing and also I can still do Promotion bits and pieces on the side. I am going to get both briefs for the summer however so I can get an idea of what each subject will be like and I can fully decide then! But as it is now I feel design is more suited to me....but only time will tell!!!

neons....

oh no...according to look.com neon's are set to come back this summer. I'm not so sure on this as I think they should stay where they belong....in a rave. Only reason I think this is because on first glance neon's are sometimes quite tacky, but on looking at the images on look.com I am slowly warming to the idea and think neon doesn't look tacky in small doses! (so long as the WHOLE outfit isn't neon...)

Bournemouth Fashion Weekend... Ok so next weekend I have volenteered to dress back stage at Bournemouth Fashion week, looks like it will be really good and I enjoyed dressing at LFW so hopefully I'll enjoy this as much.
